Yuki Ono is a film director, cinematographer, editor, screenwriter, and producer based in Los Angeles.

A graduate of the Film, Television and Media program at California State University, Los Angeles, Ono works across a wide range of visual media — feature documentaries, narrative films, short films, and music videos — and is known for overseeing a project in its entirety, taking part in everything from concept and screenplay to cinematography, editing, and producing.

Ono's work values a close, observational perspective on its subjects, depicting how people grow into their true selves through encounters, conflicts, setbacks, and trials.

Filmed over nine years across Japan, the United States, the Philippines, Mexico, and Thailand, the feature documentary BRUTING follows professional boxer Tomomi Takano, portraying how she is polished amid life's hardships and grows as a human being.
